Our modern manufacturing facility to produce plastic bonded permanent magnets was set up in 1993. The company was an Indo-German Joint Venture till Nov, 1999. Consequent to the acquisition of equity shares by the German promoter, our company is now a Subsidiary of Max Baermann Holding AG, Germany. **

MTI has its own Quality Assurance Laboratory comprising, inter alia, permagraph (B-H curve tracer), computerized measurement devices to measure magnetic surface induction and flux densities in plain and round magnets at different air gaps.

Our main manufacturing activities are:

  • Isotropic and anisotropic Barium/Strontium Ferrite magnets, by extrusion process.
  • Isotropic & anisotropic injection moulded Barium/Strontium Ferrite magnets.
  • Hybrid extruded and moulded magnets with a combination of Ferrite and isotropic Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) powders.
  • Processing of flexible magnets (lamination with double sided self adhesive tapes, cutting and stamping to customer's specification).
